Maybe you are unable to see it, but it's showing the WSavg and its dps on scoreboard

Your numbers are very interesting Luna, and I think they point out to a lack of accuracy. Your average damage was half of your highest, something that should not happen on a 5+1 hit with fTP mirroring. And you even managed to miss one WS entirely, that's a 1/200,000,000,000 chance to do so, assuming 99% MH/95% OH hit rates and no multihits.

If you want to do it again, do you mind to check your TP returns?

Gin uses PD, he likely missed once due to that

That's possible. But I still want to know if all 6 hits were connecting. The damage was pretty low.

Just messing about on Apex Bats, the Gokotai feelsbadman. Hell, the Naegling feels better on NIN than the Gokotai. Didn't make the dagger yet. :D

@Walpurgisnatchi
Try using the following settings in for the blinking tag in your addons/dressup/data/settings.xml

With this your character will not change lock style unless you zone, but you won't blink when switching ammo.
Code
        <blinking>
            <all>
                <always>true</always>
                <combat>true</combat>
                <target>true</target>
            </all>
            <follow>
                <always>true</always>
                <combat>true</combat>
                <target>true</target>
            </follow>
            <others>
                <always>false</always>
                <combat>false</combat>
                <target>false</target>
            </others>
            <party>
                <always>true</always>
                <combat>true</combat>
                <target>true</target>
            </party>
            <self>
                <always>true</always>
                <combat>true</combat>
                <target>true</target>
            </self>
        </blinking>

There is no solution for vanilla windower/non-lua users. It is a pain point for ninja. If the mage is that insistent on you not blinking, you'll have to adjust your macros (fc/mc/ws) to not switch ammo. It's an efficiency and small dps loss for sure, but not that bad at least.

Reason enough why NIN needs more niche shurikens (enmity, fc, wsd, acc/att etc) so we don't have to switch types so often.

JP and NA players have both asked for RMEA Shurikens, but the devs said no.

Blinking in itself is just an inconvenience, with the way the system is designed. It even affects macros in certain instances unable to be performed, due to a glitch (can see this in PvP all the time).

Monster NPC are immune to the effects of you blinking, I wish they made it so that players were as well.

Hell, since just the Relic days, we were asking for two katanas, since we, at the time, were the only DW job, plus we got two katanas in the AF weapon quest.

whenever I main heal on SCH, I have 2 Cure 4 macros, one for <stpc> and one dedicated to the main tank, so I never have to have them targeted, in case they blink a lot

Another alternative is, if your healer is using <t>, they can just use keys f1-f6 to target the party. It corresponds to your current party list (you will always be f1, 2nd party member f2, etc). Makes targetting someone in particular a lot easier without ever needing to physically target them, and then have blink cancel it out. Using these keys will ignore the fact that the player is currently blinked/invisible and target them anyways (unless they blink again, it resets), so for a ninja caught in ws/casting animation blinking, healer can quickly hit the corresponding F# key and use his heal macro. It's a little easier this way.

Any tips regarding lockstyle and NIN?
Lockstyle won't prevent NIN from blinking. I think it's because of the Shuriken switch. I always use dressup, but every other run some WHMs will bomb me with "lockstyle pls".
I couldn't find a solution for this, well using dressup is one.

If they have F1-6 bound, they have Windower and should get dressup.

Oh I thought I saw the binds in the init file. The issue arises not just from targeting, but casting the spell and losing target when they blink.

@Walpuurgisnacht
Nin really is a lot of fun, ya? Shame I have all my af1 +3 so I don't care to bring it in Omen anymore. Nin's always been super unforgiving. You don't like Nagi Shuhansademune? You even have rank 15 Nagi no? Rather Fudo Masamune Shuhansademune? The whole point of Nagi has always been the get out jail free card with the Mijin effect, glad you see it too.

Fudo turned the monster asap, Nagi did not.

Path C Fudo Masamune would generate more hate with shadows up. Think it was something like 75 for Fudo Masamune vs the static 40 from Nagi.

Only reason to use Nagi then would be the Magic Accuracy?

Do you just Radiance all of them? I could see Radiance for Kei. When I was farming Gin I just used Kannagi. Kin I would use Kikoku maybe. Fu could be Heishi since you wouldn't care about him stealing that aftermath. Kyuo sounds like whichever you want cause it's gimic is just the conal damage?
