I just did AR II as SMN using the 117 ammo. Pretty noticeable difference in how damage scaled vs Eminent Sachet. The 8x Archaic Gears went from tearing through my avatar to barely hitting it at all.
Ifrit could pretty much one shot most mobs in the zone as well. Only times it dealt less than 8.5k was if the first hit missed, it was Armored Chariot or the Khimaira NMs. Astral Conduit was overkill on Armoed Chariot, although necessary. I even had enough time left after Flaming Crush spam to take out 2 nearby Archaic Chariots. Shiva.Siviard said: » Thanks for the fix! Holy crap that was a joke Elder Khimmy took 4 Flaming Crushes to put down. Full timed TH Sash, also, went in /RDM so I could sling nukes around too, hell was even hitting the Khimmys with Blizzard for 1150. All SMNs should have a nuke setup, you wouldn't think it'd be great, but you can pull off some crazy nukes on SMN. It's the only Perp staff/dmg staff with magic damage+ stat. Otherwise it's -1 inventory to carry a nuking staff. I'm not sure about others but my inventory is rather tight. How much were Crushes doing to Khimmy? Hardest I hit for was 12.3k on HQ. just did a second one and I did a 14386 and 14990 on Khryso, didn't keep track of the first one I did.
and Well, I mean if you're a SMN, I can only assume that you dabble in mage-ory. I'd imagine even a Lehbrailg +2 would do some nice damage on level 99 content with minimal resists. but I mean, if you have really no other magic attack jobs, I could see the inventory space being a deal breaker, but if you have a attack RDM/BLM/SCH/GEO you can whip it together rather easy. Just saying, it's well worth looking into My problem is more due to the good nuking gear also being the same set that there is massive Avatar MAB chunks on. I have a second Hagondes Coat with MAB +26 on it for nuking but also have a coat with perp -5 on it. It also doesn't help that whenever I throw +2 stones at my gear I always get pet augments, not that I'm complaining. But the two best augments I've seen that were not pet related are my MAB +26 coat.

I just use /sch dark arts + weather control + mab + magic damage = crazy hitting cheap helix spells and other low nukes without many resist works for me.
This sounds interesting, I have Pup 99, Bst 97 and just unlocked Smn. I love the pet jobs. Siren doesn't have any LS's like this. Might look into doing a server jump and seek an invite.
So, I'm trying to do the most efficient way to do AR2
I did it today, unlocking all cells cept for like VIT, CHR and AGI, speeding to the top, clearing all of Floor 6, and Beating the Mega Boss and pretty much 27 mins on the dot. and I had some link problems at the start with having to kill leeches and some Fulmination trouble on Mega Boss, so I think I can tighten it up and get it Sub 25 mins for a guaranteed 9 Singles and a Linen. I'm just doing it so I don't hit that "10k wall" that I did the first time. spending an extra like 30 mins to get an extra 20-30 just isn't worth it in the long run, trust me. We're popping Jailer of Love/Absolute Virtue tonight x2 at least, possibly 3rd pop tomorrow or later in the week.

We did this last night with 12....and after we did this, a few people had to log for the night. Popped again anyhow, with 9 people (1 BST, 2 PUP, 5 SMN, 1 COR) and still won (didn't SS though)
 We're about to attempt Yorcia Weald T5 and Kamihr Drifts T5 tonight. Of course, screenshots of the carnage will follow.

I have a Bst and Smn im sure ya seen me around siv. hit me up in game sometime flow was supposed to try and get me pearl. speaking of AR2, clearing out all of floor 6 and killing HQ bossy on 7th I managed Sub 22 mins.

We just won Bee Delve, and two of the DD were pet jobs! One PUP, one SMN. PUP isn't useless after all! Imagine that?!?! After the update on Tuesday, we're going to try Foret Delve with a setup of RUN, PUP/RUN x2, RDM, WHM, COR
