considering being done with the tracker and game.

dont really go out to pokehunt and the tracker itself really really kills the battery. would be nice if it had a on/off switch

I've never used the in-game tracker since it has little to no point. Oh, there is a Dragonite somewhere around me? That's cool. No accuracy, limited patterns (which have been changed, genius), I was expecting something somewhat similar to the usual games, let down on that part.

Why would I waste 30min walking around a huge building just to not find it because it's at the center of it. I've had this happen way too many times around my home as there are huge residences I can't get into.

I only bother with the Pokémons I scan while I walk from a point A to a point B (usually work <> home).

Getting rid of Pokévision may be smart regarding Pokémons like Dragonite, Charizard and region exclusives, but outside of that, it's not really smart even if I understand why they did that (matter of principle).

Oh well, I'm already thinking sticking to Dokkan Battle as Pokémon GO costs way too much money to be played somewhat normally (between Pokéballs and eggs there are just way too many reasons to waste money, which I'd be fine with if they didn't mess with the game in such a negative way within a month).

Do you get a pokemon back automatically when the gym you left it at tumbles or do you have to hit that gym up again?

Also, latest update my phone works fine now. I *think* battery saver may have been to blame.

New Jersey resident Jeffrey Marder filed a class action lawsuit against Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, and Niantic Labs on Monday, claiming that the game Pokémon Go entices players to trespass by placing Pokéstops and gyms on private property without the owners' permission. The lawsuit seeks compensation and a change in the game's practices.

The lawsuit states that, since the game's launch, Marder has seen strangers loitering around his house with their phones, and that "at least five individuals" have knocked on his door to request access to his yard in order to catch Pokémon.

The lawsuit also cites other cases similar to Marder's, as well as the placement of Pokéstops at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The museum is one of several sites that have requested their locations be removed from the game.

Niantic's game update last weekend added safety warnings and advisories against trespassing.

If you're requesting access, that's not really trespassing unless they say no and you go anyway. >.>

Sounds like my brother, he just wants to be a fun-ruining ***...which now that I think about it, something almost always pops at his house...

You get it back automatically once it gets kicked out of the gym, which happens if it's the lowest CP 'mon when the gym goes down a level. You'll know it came back from a gym because it'll have 1 HP. x.x

I've been having an issue lately where the game becomes unresponsive for like 10 seconds at a time. My terrible phone is probably to blame. x.x Just now it happened when I opened my inventory. I tried scrolling up and down with no success, decided to let it be for a bit to see if it would recover, and then watched in abject horror as it scrolled down all on its own and used my last lucky egg! My Pidgey Cannon™ was only half full, so I only got about 33k xp--what a waste ; ;!

The game has been much more unstable after the last update for me, so it may be due to that.

I get a lot of unusual loading and some Pokéstops aren't functioning properly randomly (I couldn't get a Pokéstop this morning then when I came around after work, I couldn't get it again and after roughly 2 minutes, I could finally get stuff from it) while they worked perfectly fine before.

I wish there was a way to disable hatching animations (or at least queue them) and evolving animations (not even pretty at that). They made me miss more things than they have given me.

I'm seeing "Unable to transfer Pidgey due to an unknown error" a lot too. :/

Even got an "Unable to evolve Pidgey due to an unknown error" earlier today. Game took my candy, took my Pidgey (which was named a number range for its potential IV spread), and did not give me a Pidgeotto with that name. Not sure if I got xp for it or not because I wasn't counting evolutions, but I'm leaning towards... no. <____<

I'm 100% with you Senk. The buzz has died off, mainly because Niantic killed it. But I think you hit the main points I literally just said to a friend earlier in the week. The main issue I have with the cost of this game now, is the Egg Incubators. In reality, I can hit about 15 pokestops a day in between going to and from work and lunch breaks, which nets me about 30-40 pokeballs possibly if I'm lucky. Which is fine for me to stay ready for the occasional-rare-pokemon-that'll-never-spawn.

Irony is, since I stopped spending money on the game, all the game gives me is.....5/10km eggs. and guess how many incubators I have? just 1. Game is so lame too. I may just fizzle out soon. For now, though, I'm going to stay a FTP player for good, since this game is really in a bad state atm.

Really bummed out. The apps are pretty garbage, too.

Turn off AR mode. It's saved by battery time by about an extra 25%

You dont have anywhere nearby with a bunch of pokestops to farm pokeballs for an hour o.O? I got about 150+ balls in an hour just walking and farming. Yeah, I drive about 15 minutes to do so, but I'm not paying 11$ for 200 balls unless they were ultra balls. 6 for great balls.

You get it back once it falls.

Battery saver had a high chance of crashing the game. It done more harm than good, hence the removal.

There are a couple of gyms at the local cemetery here, and it's right across from the street famous for housing old people. This is where the practices need an overhaul. It's creeping them out, but they also like seeing fresh kidneys, lungs, and other body parts walk by so willingly.

Aside from that, when it comes to enticing players to trespass, that's a pretty big crock of ***, since I can catch pokemon from my backyard, to the backyards of several people across the street from me, without leaving my couch. Or from walking up and down the sidewalk like a deranged lunatic.

And most of the time, the game's pokestops and gyms are using what are considered to be "local landmarks" or areas that are considered to be the highest point of foot traffic and pedestrian use.

All third-party radars/bots/tools stopped working since yesterday. There is a good summary here in Reddit.

Good thing that you knew, but I didn't see anything about it on this thread and I wanted others to know, and that is why I shared that link. You didn't seem to have said anything about "most apps are down again", you just mentioned that one particular app was removed from the play market. I apologize if I missed your post, but I can't find it.

You're correct, that was the only app I posted was down currently, but thats also the only app I know of that was affected by unknown6. If there were others that came back up after the first wave, I was uncertain of. I also apologize for confusion.

So, should I schedule my panic for the next Pokemon Go update or for the C&D letters? Lol

I read that one guy that got past unknown6 was hit with a C&D and refused to share the fix because of it.

Also, Niantic apparently confirmed some people got Articuno by mistake and they pulled them which pissed people off, plus there's the catch difficulty increase which screams money grab, and the adjustment to the app raising the scan for new Pokemon from 5 seconds to 10.

There are probably reasons for these changes but the end user will always come to their own conclusions, the developer has to be more transparent to influence those conclusions in a positive way.

I dont quite get that part... are you saying that the game refreshes its data every 10 seconds? So even if we're at the pokemons location, its going to take up to 10 seconds for it to pop? ><

Pokemon Go has taught me a few things.

1. I can out walk my sister and take the heat better than she can.

2. Gas is cheaper when I'm not buying it.

3. There's always some teenaged girl downtown trying to be funny, you can hear this individual approaching from, at minimum, two blocks away.

4. I can be annoyed from two blocks away.

Anna, Moq, Jiko, can either of you elaborate in laymen's terms what exactly is the current issue? I'm not a programmer and have no idea what "unknown6" is and how it affects pokemon tracking.

Yes? I've read people complain that those who play on bikes or public transport are getting screwed over because the time is now double.

It's basically an encryption from what I've read. I look at it like a lock that devs are sorting through keys for.
