Best campaign ever, might be Yes it is indeed a wonderful campaign for the addicts who get banned monthly but keep coming back to get their Idris, just so they can get banned again and start over for the 100th time.

The coalition boost campaign kinda diminishes the effort I put into Idris/Epeo, but at the same time I’m glad there are catch up mechanics. What I don’t understand is why they don’t do catch up Mythic options. Ex: 2x Ichor, 2x Tokens.

I'm doing 3 nyzul runs a day if they do a 2x tokens campaign.

I don't know that it was ever stated, but I feel like this was done to allow players to finish the story and not directly related to the weapons. Mythic branch already got this treatment with the RoV love.

I loved OG salvage, and while token farming is dull, I still like the theme of the zone. I just shout for a few pickups occasionally and get it done. Of course if I was playing on a smaller server and forming pickups wasn’t a viable option I’d probably have a much different opinion on it.

I believe id be at 3 pieces now, based on my matter stocks. I also took ~3 months off limbus because I was: Making shields Not wasting time on with not maxed out chests. * Finding the lamps takes a minute or two. * A lamp order iteration takes maybe 20 seconds if it's wrong and 3 seconds if it's right. * You can do at worst 5 lamp iterations. I lazily did 2 Nyzul runs this morning (starting from 1 for my mule), exiting at 5 minutes left. Floor 35 now. I think it was 17 and then 21 floors? BLM/RDM with Gaiters and two mules standing at the Lamp (except for lamp floors where I'd leave one of each at the first two lamps).

I think in all my Nyzul I only had a wasted run once. (and I could be making that up)
I typically play it safe and exit 2 floors under 10min. But comparing the content. Limbus: Kill Fodder for 30 minutes. No variance from run to run. Matters drop at 50%, so half the time you wasted 30 minutes. (especially as your progress, matters are all the matters :p) Solid Rewards that take 50-100 clears each. 25-50 hours. Nyzul: Each floor is random, with 5 random objectives. Boss Fight ever 20 floors. Solid rewards (for its time), random dropped from bosses. Points used for Mythic questline. Lamps aren't fun, but 66% of the time its CODE or Sametime which is fast and easy. |
