Western Adoulin, Nashmau and Batallia Downs (S) are my biggest culprits for slow down, but I'm not in the other 2 regularly, the Adoulin one is a bother though. Or even let me know your method for removing the smoke and I'll do it myself. Would be nice to look into fixing the other zones I'm having problems with too, but don't know where to start as far as doing it myself.

You'll know if you have the correct file being displayed cause the wood in the fires at the entrance to Eldime will be painted bright red. Check for lag around those fires and near the jugner zone where the smoke is. It might do nothing or even make the lag worse but just wanna test something, since I don't get lag to test it myself.  Not quite sure what's causing it in this zone. The smoke near Jugner is actually one of the few spots in the zone that is at capped fps. That being said, if I'm not multi boxing it's fine, but that's the same for Western Adoulin too. My PC can brute force the issue when I'm only playing 1 character. Thanks.
The issue is only when I pan my camera towards the smoke in Western Adoulin. Gonna head to bed, but I'll re check Sauromugue Champaign S tomorrow, but don't think it's anywhere near as bad as Batallia if there is an issue. Explains batallia S too, most the fps drops happened when I could see all the mountains in the background. I swear I tried doing this before but I couldn’t tell a difference. Thanks for noting this. Does it really need to be all the way down to the lowest setting on the alts? So i'm under the assumption it's due to render distance, but I could still be wrong. |
