FFXI HD Mods

Is there a backup for the first post HD mods? Every link seems to be broken.

Does anyone happen to have this floating around? It's been made private on the drive it's on and I'm trying to help someone with this specific smoke issue.

It works, and everything look so good it feels like im playing another game.
However, beastmaster's pets abilities won't show on screen.
So when i use "Ready" the pet doesn't move even tho it's using the ability.
Is there a fix for this?

Ninja edit: actually, its worse, i dont see any of the npc/pet attacks either, they just show in the chat log.
This happens only with pets, when i fight, animations dispaly normally

I think that is actually a result of a windower addon, although I can't remember the name offhand.

Edit: pet_fix maybe? Check if you have that addon loaded. If you do, turn it off and see if that fixes it.

I've got a question...when i select npc/players, they no longer "glimmer".
Is there any way to fix it?

Anyone happen to know where the HD font (the one you get turning Text Quality up in the FFXI Config program) is, location wise? Been trying to find it and having no luck.

Were you able to recover those mods dale?

Sadly not, sorry, nobody came forward. There might be a reason it's private as RadialArcana is still active and about and they know what they are doing, I didn't inquire any further.

Ive been experiencing quite a bit of lag in places like Cloud of darkness, shinryu, whitegate HP2 and anywhere in the adoulins. Someone suggested removing the smoke dat file but not sure how to find it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any advice would be great.

But have you tried "/localsettings blureffect off" ? this disable the blur effect around avatars, magian moogles and I believe some smoke effect too.
