 I did about 40 runs today, got my first rare drops of the little bit I've done of this event. This was a loud thud:
 Couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present, I'll put that to good use. Also got a Gyve Doublet for my wife and a Router.

It's pretty hard for us to know how many of the loud thud drops have been from the thud itself, and how many were from the terminal coffer. You could figure a little bit out from when you get 1 more gear drop than you got thuds, the spare drop is likely from terminal coffer. Hey everyone,
so i've been collecting orbs some and i'll be doing a few round of trove soon. i hear its better to bring a full pt for more loot? is that right? yeah for more deaths. make sure you bring a lot of tarutarus also. full pt doesn't do ***, it's based off amount of chests you open. only reason to really bring a full party (or more than 2 to keep items in pool) is to kill the mimic
I feel like they've nerfed this lol. Not a single loud thud in 50 runs.
"Bad luck" Venting always ensures next run is incredibly awesome.

I lied now 55 in a row. I'm not sure what's worse, a run where you literally can only get noises or a run where you could've got loud but hit mimic.
Which one is less insulting? 9 Noise is *** dumb idk, all my loud thuds have been utter ***anyways. I'm just excited to get 1-2 chests without a damn mimic lol

I think they've nerfed it too. I've had similar results to yours.
Maybe you are cursed. Need a long bath with a beautiful blond to get rid of the curse.
This random gambling parade is driving people insane. Now they just need to sell this Mars orb for $1.99 and Venus orb for $3.99 and we'll have a loot boxes game. i've started doing the same zone/same pattern of opening chests and stopping after opening 5 chests regardless of thud/loud thud. ~ going to see how this continues but getting some decent crap so far.

I'v been doing the same thing. With both Mars and Venus actually. I've gotten a couple of loud thuds, but nothing better than high tier mission items and escha/reisenjima gear. I also start with the chest second to the far back left, then open counter clockwise until I have 5+ opened or a loud thud. The only time I change this pattern is when the chest o plenty spawns in one of those chests. Then I start with that chest specifically on the next run. Why not just keep opening until you get a loud thud? is there something even good from normal chests?

To some people 500k is "good" enough to not gamble.

Or can you get omen bodies from normal noises? I'm asking because I thought it was established that loud thud (which can occur from the exiting chest) can produce bodies, but noises can't.
Everytime you go, if you open the terminal coffer you have a chance at an Omen body.
Regardless how many noises/thuds you got. (small chance, but chance nevertheless) Mimic 100% of the time = nothing Conquest, Beseiged, Campaign, Reive: which of these is the least time consuming/ most mindless? I have tons of mules That are only getting 5 vouchers a month. Would like one more for another Mars each.
Reive seems the most accessible but not sure how much work is required for 5000 bayld. I can’t recall ever participating in the other events so am clueless of what the participation requirements mean/entail from the help text in the objective details. Thanks in advance! Getting access to reives is a mil and a 10 minute cutscene plus running to a zone that actually has reives worth doing. Ceizak has ***reives that will take 2 probably. (unless you already have access to adoulin) you still need to do a quest to be able to damage reives.
Or, kill 30 mobs with signet on. You can do this in 2 minutes with blm blu etc in a spot like boyhada. I hit a ton of 9 noise last month. Really lame.
