OH ****....

Johnson not only won, he won big.

I haven't counted the seats yet but I think he can form an all conservative government.

It was nice knowing the united kingdom ...

Good luck with that Brexit stuff too.

Ah, the doom and gloom stuff again. The UK will be just fine.

Chicken Little syndrome, the far lefties are out of control at the minute. The UK won't allow a communist, terrorist sympathiser to be our leader. He is on record as being a "friend" of the IRA, Hamas and Hezbollah and calls the SAS lawless when they rescue captured, soon to be executed comrades...

We also don't tend to like having our political class attempting to subvert the will of the majority of people. Huge numbers of remain voters voted against the leftists who wanted to run another brexit referendum, or simply reverse the decision. My family and I are from the north of England and have voted Labour exclusively for generations until this election. Not sure how much you know about British politics but to have the North of England not elect Labour is unheard of.

The majority of Brits just quietly get on with their lives. The far left lunatics are the ones screaming and shouting. I don't get why people listen to them without actually looking into the truth of what they are saying. Completely clueless.

I have a lot of family on in Scotland and they all say the labour party was so out of their tree that they could have never won. Calling each other Comrade and stuff....

Reminds me of our upcoming elections where left is unhinged.

I'm sure England will be fine, but whats going on over there has nothing to do with the USA, nor is it a reflection of anything over here. Maybe the parties have swapped roles in the UK, but that hasn't happened in the US. Not even close.

lol, I'm thinking about the Trump administration, and the people that compose it. Lets see, all the Cabinet heads, with the exception of 2, are rich white people. And those two minorities? Rich. His Chief of Staffs, National Security Advisors, his other prominent "advisors", his press secretaries, have been rich white people. When asked about this at the beginning of his term, he said "I don't trust poor people to run the country."

So forgive me if I don't take your "analysis" of our parties or what they represent too seriously. Trump has only ever cared about 1 demographic.

Ahh Brexit, I warned many of my European friends his would happen. See in a Democracy you can't piss on the people while calling it rain and hope their ignorance and blind faith has them believe you. Especially when those people made a clear decision directly, via referendum. Ignoring that and you might as well throw out Democracy, convert to a one party state and become Communists.

If it speaks like a Communist, walks like a Communist and acts like a Communist, it's a Communist.

Now look at the all the people who support him at the rallies, on social media and in real life, all those "deplorables" all the "hicks" all the "uneducated" your party hates and mocks so much now.

Now look at all the rich people on TV, in Hollywood, in business, on social media, all the university students in expensive clothes, all the journalists that are on the left.

Do you think there are more of those well dressed, avocado eating people in the USA or far more "awful poor people" you all seem to hate so much?

You may not want to accept it but you support the party of the pampered elites in your country and there aren't enough of you to win in 2020 because every person no matter how much money they have has 1 vote, the working classes hate you because your party does NOTHING for them and Trump has made it his goal to do as much as he can for them. Your country is booming, incredibly low unemployment numbers, more jobs coming to the USA over going to China (the jobs that the Democrats destroyed due to pandering to the rich greens) and tax cuts to almost everyone that pays taxes.

If you refuse to accept why you keep losing you'll just keep on losing. All the tears, all the anger on social media, all the conspiracy theories won't change it.

Nothing has changed since 2016, in-fact the Democrats have done nothing but *** and moan since then. They have done nothing with their majority in the house to make working class peoples lives better, Trump has though and they know it.

lol, you are just making this ***up. Its pretty amusing but yeah, no reason to take your "analysis" seriously. Trying to bring up his staged pep rallies? Really? Those are controlled environments. Did you see how he was treated at the World Series? Thats a way better litmus test of his popularity. His Make America White Again policies haven't fooled the electorate. Which is why no one is worried about 2020.

The political parties in the US & UK aren't really comparable. Republicans are a mix of the extremely poor & uneducated and also extremely rich & uneducated, with the rich ones typically having inherited their money. Democrats are mostly middle class, with their money being self-earned through good business decisions and higher education. Trump's father was one of those democrats, coming to this country from Sweden Germany with nothing to his name. He earned his fortune through real estate and at the time of his death was worth 100s of millions of dollars. Donald Trump was also Democrat, as most children take on the political affiliation of their parents. He wasn't accepted well among his democratic peers, and while their business ventures thrived, Trump's dealings were plagued with bankruptcies and repeated failure. Trump defected to the Republican party where he was more accepted, and fit in much better.

Sure people can care about multiple things but you have to understand their "top concern" is not climate change.

You have a astronomical higher chance of getting stabbed in UK versus any worry of climate change in the next 100 years. That is what is on peoples mind.

You have to remember, people are mostly simple and easy going. They want to address things that are affecting them now, crime, taxes, immigration etc. Sure it is kind of narrow sited to not think ahead but that is how most people are.

Cutting masses of police officers tends to do that. Conservatives have built their entire election manifesto on fixing the very problems Cameron and then May created, kind of amazing honestly.

The World Series? You mean the game in Washington D.C., a city with a higher Democrat party affiliation than New York City and Los Angeles? Yeah, sure, a dumb chant at a ballgame in the heart of Democrat country is a better litmus test of his popularity than the thousands of regular people who stand for hours in freezing weather just to hear him speak. Oh sorry, that must have been "staged".

Tell another joke for us, Vic. They just keep getting better.

Uh yeah, his rallies are completely staged. They control who gets in there, unlike a sporting event which they have no control over.

?

Yeah, you're going to have to post a source to explain exactly what you're talking about. If you mean they stage who makes it on camera behind him, then duh, that's pretty standard. If you mean they shut out obvious protesters, then duh, that's pretty standard. You can't "completely stage" his crowd sizes. The tickets are free and operate on a first come first served basis, so whatever you're insinuating needs a hefty dose of proof.
