yep, irish is one of the few surviving celtic languages~ wait what about Welsh isnt that still spoken? this chart says Revived Cornish, Welsh and Breton(i have no idea what that is) are surviving... lol

No they cant be really intermingled due to the distinct nature of all of them Scottish Gaelic and Irish Gaelic are completely different and if you spoke Irish Gaelic to a Scottish person they wouldnt understand any of it.

well if i listen to a french speaker i cant understand nada. but if i look at it on paper its very easy to translate roughly

thats kinda odd. id have thought languages from the same family would have some similarities in writing or when spoken.

the different dialects in chinese are so distict that they are not mutually intelligible, and are even almost considered seperate languages.
see:mandarin, cantonese, min, wu, etc
i myself am most partial to the northern germanic family, but i also enjoy some slavic languages

so i learned in skyrim that guys dont have anything under their loincloth underwear, so its just like 2 cloths belted on to cover the front and back....
also nords have nice ***.... >.>

well the dialect is different than the characters. Thats what i was getting at is prefix, suffix, and character differences so large that they cant be understood.
