We made curry once last semester. It was amaaaaazing, but all my friends love super spicy food and it was almost too much for me. XD I'm a pretty atypical southerner in that I have almost 0 tolerance for spicy food (unless it's mustard-based spice like wasabi or something). XD

2.) Actually that mustard taste is the horseradish because,
3.) Real Wasabi is incredibly difficult (nigh impossible) to grow en mass so 99% of all Wasabi in the US is actually a simulated Wasabi made from ground Horseradish paste and green food coloring. Real Wasabi is ridiculously expensive.

XD Lol this always reminds me of this one Thai place in Guam. You order each dish with a number of hotness 1-10. Even things that aren't normally hot. Most people who love hot food have problems with 4-5. I've never seen someone ever eat more than 6... and supposedly a guy got sent to the hospital for eatting 9

I don't underestimate anything southern, my great grandma was from Tennessee and her cooking was...not for the faint of stomach. Then again her personality was not for the faint of heart.

Some restaurants/companies that make really hot sauces and foods require their employees to wear goggles and gas masks because the fumes can literally blind and/or choke you lol
