Hey guys, sorry for the delay; I was barely released from the hospital and my phone died so I was disconnected from the world. ><;



I know it is not a good shot but, I was in the silver car as a passenger and I was on the side that received all of the impact. Thankfully, it missed the door so, although hard, I was able to get out once I fully understood what exactly just happened.

The driver in the red's airbag didn't deflate so, I was more worried about his safety than mine. My mouth was just spewing medical terms and procedures. @_@; Although he hit his head on the steering wheel really hard, he wasn't experiencing a seizure directly after the impact so that's good but, I dunno the follow up.

I'm basically fine, I was released and I'm basically bruised and sprained all over. D:

Wow, waking up and seriously wondering if all that just happened was real. . . It was a scary experience. @@;

No, it was a male.
A woman was driving my car but, it wasn't out fault. @@;
The guy was speeding.

O.O I was gonna freak out until I saw Scrumpy say he was alright and in the silver car, hope the guy in the red one is okay, but the asshat deserved a totaled car for speeding!

jeez man... glad you are ok scrump. who the hell speeds fast enough to make an impact like that in what is clearly a highly residential zone ? what's the speed limit on that road? 30?

i mean i drive fast but i save it for highways onry.

For real, people need to slow down in residential areas before they kill someone. That's horrible that people would speed that fast.

The speeding can be especially bad in small rural areas where everyone is familiar with the roads.. I'm surprised there aren't more wrecks around here.

Well, I commute thirty minutes to volunteer at a children's hospital twice a week, every other week.

I volunteer at the Ronald McDonald Room on the third floor of this hospital.
(I volunteer with the Ronald McDonald Room in order to gain experience with serving parents who are both angry and sad because of their child's health.
80% of what I'll be doing as a pediatrician is advocating the best course of treatment for my patient against angry and scared parents. ;~;)

Anyway, since there are not many patients at the hospital, they closed down the third floor so, it was lonely ole' Scrumpet all by himself stationed at the Ronald McDonald House of Charities Room.

The fire alarm sounded while I was closing shop but it advised to stay on the first floor. Then, as I was trying to call my father (who didn't pick up because he's at his "Wife's" house -_-;) they advised all floors to evacuate. So, I ran around the third floor which was empty like a mad-man trying to find the stairwell, which coincidentally was on the other side of the wing. -_-; Then, at the bottom, the damn door was incredibly difficult to open so, I had to kick it open! D:<

It was a small fire on the first floor of the same wing I was in. ;~;
(Probably cause by something that short-circuited.

TL;DR:
There was a small fire on the first floor of the children's hospital I was volunteering at; I was on the third floor.

Scaryyyy D: I'm glad you had the presence of mind to get yourself to safety, even if it was only a small fire lol

This has been such an eventful week. -_-;
