My wife and I play together, last night she went in to the kitchen while waiting for an airship and yelled back to me, "Besh, can you make sure I make it on to the airship?"
She realized what she had done after she said it and hoped I wouldn't. But I did and told her she needed to post that in the forum today. Since she hasn't yet, I am.

Writing down dream gear setups for various jobs on a piece of paper with a pen, and making full fledged macros for jobs you're 50+ levels away from getting 75. All of which I'm guilty of >.>
sure these all been said before, but mine are..
- whilst writing documents/ on MSN pressing tab to try and get the auto-translate up - "Thanks for the offer, but i'll have to pass" has to be my most said sentance. - calling real money 'gil' just 4 hours ago, i told my mum i was going to draw out 60gil.. meaning £60 - saying 'Zone' when changing room. - The other day, i had a mental blockage in a clothes shop in town, and instead of saying 'do you have this in medium' i said to the person serving me, 'excuse me, do you have the +1 version of this' needless to say her response was .. I think I already posted this, but one time when I went outside, I looked at the clear blue sky and was wondering how to turn my weather effects back on.
Other than that, I don't really involve my real life and FFXI together so much. Only time I do is when I tell family I'm busy because I have Salvage/Dynamis. They seem to -always- want to spend quality time when they KNOW I have to be doing things on game. And it's later in the evening, too, so they could always ask for my attention earlier in the day. @w@ *sigh* Family.~ Speaking in auto translate function....for complete conversations.
Last night during Nyzul I thought to myself "Crap did I bring ninja tools for /nin?" ...so I checked my actual pockets. lmao...my husband woke me up early one morning..(we both play) and apparently I was so tired from pt all night that I told him "Dont worry, Ill just cast regen on myself"

When you hear of SEIU and think it must be a branch of SE. You know you play entirely too much FFXI when you have a Maats Cap, Tamas Ring, Ares's Armor and an unlocked Relic weapon.
(I seen someone like that in Whitegate the other day and the first thing I thought was 'someone plays way too much FFXI'.) When I got my new laptop, my husband named it Liela. I used it for a couple weeks without noticing that it was my game name instead of my rl name because I was so used to being called Liela. Too much FF!
When i feel the need to find seasonal event avitars to represent >.o (but isnt she cute! =D )

Typing /l before every conversation im writing in a message
just before waking up (half asleep half awake stage) thought dont need to worry about work today ill just change job then fully waking up and thinking hang a sec... i cant do that damn... Most sounds IRL sound like in game sounds. Tabing for auto translate on things that cant be autoed there is an organization in a small town near the city i live in. the sign for it simply says M.H.M.U. every time i pass it i look for a moogle....

So my wife and I are watching some old school Looney Tunes the other day on TV. She asks me what one of the character's names is right? I look her dead in the eye and say "Tavnazian Devil". I'm still trying to explain to her just where in the hell Tavnazia is.....

I'm also guilty of ESC-ing when I'm on IM instead of ingame.
One other thing I tend to do is Ctrl+W on the wrong window. When I'm looking at stuff in Firefox on my smaller screen, I want to close the tab with Ctrl+W, but find out nothing happens. When I turn my head to check the game on my other 'screen' (mmmm dual screen), the Weaponskill is open. Same thing happens with Ctrl+L (type in new url in the url bar above instead of that effing popup screen of IE) and Ctrl+T (new tab). For the rest... maybe I check people's distance from me and wonder if I can hit them with a spell. Oh well... time to fetch my 'free chocobo ride' home.
