Hitting escape when I make a typo in Trillian to back out of the chat, effectively closing the window. Complaining to my friends that I don't have enough gil to go out with them on a Saturday night. NOT going out with friends on a Saturday night because I needz moar xp/there's an event/I'd rather sit in WG and telewhore. Taking a week off work for vacation time to do spring cleaning, and instead sitting on FFXI all day every day. Manaburning from 9:30am until midnight and gaining 3 levels in said day. Would have gone faster, but Eric decided we all needed to die several times. Sitting here lurking on this board almost constantly... I currently level rdm... does anyone else dream of haste cycles and the dream turns into a nightmare when I can't keep it up... or is it just me? >.o
I am glad this thread is here... I work with a guy who is buying his first house. Everyone was talking about how much better it is to have a good down payment, but that it was so hard to save that kind of money. I said, "no, it's not THAT bad - I just sold..." which I would have finished with "a scroll of Reraise II for 40k" if I hadn't realized I playing reality at the time, and not FF.

I snapped out of my daze and realized that I was leveling 4 characters in 4 separate parties at once
and wasn't half bad. Loosing all sense of reality here. Also I am hearing stuff from the old windower crap "you've been examined" "incoming tell" >_< |
