So... for those of you hoping 47 Ronin is just another cheesy action movie. Nope.
Was very meh and moved really slow. I was hoping for like Hero type colors and movement styling, and it was just meh. Everything about it was just meh, nothing stood out.
Reason it got 10% from critics...
As for me I'm extremely critical of movies. If I'm going to waste 2 plus hours it better be damn good. I would never go to a movie without reading reviews of it.
I usually dislike comedies as well. Napoleon Dynamite was so boring to me that I didn't even watch it all the way to the end. I don't even know what genre it was. Is "boring" a genre? Most comedies to me just seem dumb. I dislike that curly-haired guy who played in Elf as the elf, and I dislike Jim Carrey. I've never seen the Big Lebowski, so I couldn't say one way or the other. Mag likes it, so it can't be half bad!
But it just seems like if a show is a comedy for the sake of being a comedy, then they try so hard to make it funny that they reduce it down to being about funny faces (which to me stopped being funny when I was 10 or 11.) For example:
If it's a movie that is a story with some comedy on the side (as opposed to being a comedy with some story on the side) then I like it better. The "comedies" I like aren't even usually labeled as comedies, I don't think. I love the first Ghostbusters movie, and I would label that a comedy. I love Gross Point Blanke, which is not a comedy (I think?) but I would call it that. I love RED, which is not labeled as a comedy but is comedic to me.
I think the only comedy labeled as a comedy that I really like is The Blues Brothers.
So the weather is about to turn for the worse in a few hours, suppose to get down to -16'F today and be that low for tomorrow.
Debating on whether to order a pizza or not. I would feel bad making someone drive in this weather, right now it's 16'F so not too bad.
I would say that if you do it, do it before the weather gets too bad and then tip them extra well. Stay safe and warm! You're the only Schizm we have and we want to keep you!
Hey, on my phone in my new and surprisingly spacious barracks room. I start work Monday, but have not been told where to go. Have to set up Internet, gonna be getting a cable pack with 50mbps, so that seems legit. Soonest I will have normal net is Tuesday; the latest is the 12th... Gonna miss you all on XIV especially Shiggy! For now I will be playing Ogre Battle 64, and naming my army units after people I really like from this forum. Peace out for now!

I only liked Anchorman because I know a guy who looked exactly like the character irl.
Remember the boss in Office Space. My manager from a long time ago looked like him if he was a woman. It was scary.
She even had the same glasses.
Somebody asked me to do something at work awhile back, and then after it in the email said "that would be great" referencing if it could be done the next day.

ND isn't a comedy, it's a farce.
Will Ferrell is a moron, and the only role he's done that I've enjoyed is the Bush skit.
Well I feel like a derp, was going to try out a private server, did a full install/update, config and everything only to find out that they got a c&d months ago...

Jim Carrey on the other hand is a genius...
Red is hilarious.
so Will Ferrell is a moron and Jim Carrey is a genius? ....slapstick=genius? ....kay :|
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
