When I read stuff like this, I really wanna give EVE a try, but it'd probably take me too long to get far enough to where I can just pay the sub with in-game cash instead, and I don't feel like paying 2 MMO subs. :<
My heels and toes have been utterly destroyed by my new boots and the awkward angling I have to do during maintenance. Thank God the rest of my body is flexible and resilient, because my feet alone are killing me.

Yeah, I've read quite a few stories about huge stuff like this and it always sounds so awesome lol. Pretty sure one of them is covered on Cracked's "biggest *** moves in online gaming" list too.
The EVE starter pack is 75% off on Steam until February 3rd... Or just the base game and 1 month of PLEX is only 33% off... Well that seems kinda silly. :I Unless the starter pack doesn't come with the game... but that doesn't make sense...

But the drama is part of the charm!
and yeah, I played the Wizardry Online beta. Not surprised whatsoever that it's already being shut down. Combat was fun and all, but it was way too hardcore for today's average MMO player (open PvP, permadeath). Knew the audience would be extremely small as a result.
