Though what has made it terrible under new ownership? Alienating advertisments? Low quality bitrates? Lack of available catalog?

I heard about spotify but idk if I would use it. I'm an Itunes person. I can always find what I need and I got a few itunes gift cards cheap that I use to get what I need. My brother and I share music with it and aside from a few glitches here and there I feel a lot safer using that and youtube than I do anything else.
