I don't recall the result of that specific case. However I do know that ultimately the patent that Nintendo applied for (and got) was tossed. As they were trying to patent the "summoning a monster to fight for you" mechanic.

Today the most random little storm passed thru. Shook the whole building, the wind was like gale force winds and even moved my whole display back and forth. Then it stopped and threw a huge thunderbolt in the river, weird!

Was Scary Movie bad? I mean in context of the other movies. I know it's not going to win any awards, just curious how it compares to the prior ones.


Microburst maybe? During the summer storms can be short and major intense.

Xbox showcase today was uh...sad. Even the Persona 6 reveal was underwhelming. We got a logo and thats it. Oh also, I'll be playing that on PS5, thanks Microsoft. Continue to ignore your existence.

Yes sadly... I missed the first 15 or 20m of the movie so maybe that was funny, but the rest of the movie was just not great. The jokes felt super forced and I just didn't really laugh like I did for the first 4 scary movies. Altho I was a lot younger when they came out, I still laugh at them to this day but this just did not hit for me. I was really hoping it would do well too, I hope they do another one to redeem it. It felt a lot like scary movie 5 which was atrocious, its not as bad as that but you can see some of those types of jokes in this movie.


Yeah I thought it was strange but apparently everyone doing reels about it in NYC. Being higher up I feel the wind a lot more strongly, its crazy how these buildings move so much .


I thought it was funny they erased all the logos of the other systems it would be on. I guess they all do that since I rarely watched an xbox games stream but it made me think it would be only for xbox when it wasn't after checking the actual trailers online.

UMAD world race was fun to watch when I had opportunities to do view. Mostly positive outside of one weird moment with a non-streamed team taking the title which sparked a bit of outrage.

Shame Poikos, the leading JP team, wasn't able to get the stream first title after doing as much pioneering and path finding as they did for the fight. Glad they still finished the fight though.

Overall, a very nice watch and background noise and a lot of fun little nods and 4th wall breaking shenanigans was had.

Ocarina of Time Remake for Switch 2. Not buying that console.

Seems like a lazy upscaling from the N64 version. Call me Tinfoil Tommy, but the fact they have a trailer with zero gameplay but expect to have it out before 2027 tells me its mostly just upscaling.


If they want my attention, remake Link to the Past. Turn the top down game into a 3d full world. Thats a remake.

That's a hot take. Adventure of Link is not what I'd call the best one lol. I like it, which is rare, but best it is not.

If you mean ALTTP though (it's not number 2), maybe

Hard to say Zelda 2 is tbe best, because its so different from everything else.

If you think Zelda 2 is the best, better to say you actually dont like Zelda.

Zelda 2 is like Mario 2, a diferent game with the borrowed name.

That said, I throughly enjoyed my playthrough of Zelda 2 that I played like last year for the first time.

I had to resort to walkthrough for the last dungeon because screw that place.

Yeah I kinda don't. LTTP was easily my least favorite snes rpg growing up. I enjoyed OOT mostly because of the novelty of 3d at the time, but that was the last one I ever played or bought.

My first Zelda was nothing short of a miracle.

I still remember I got it in a frigging floppy disk that was randomly attached to a random magazine!

Somehow, they managed to pack the game plus some sort of background emulator to run the GB version of it.

I dont think I even knew what Zelda was, if I knew, probably some random article in that time gaming magazines that I couldnt afford to buy, and had to take a peak on my friends copy.

I was completely amazed by seeing the full game in such a relatively cheap magazine, and a extremelly high quality game on top of that.

Things I can never explain, just this was what supposed to happen.

Maybe the Matrix sending signs to the chosen one (me).

I like the pixel art a lot, but it doesn't mix well with the HD stuff.
