Apparently they're part of my 46.4GB Temporary Internet Files folder.
Should just rename it Permanent Internet Files.
I'm still not sure how it's taking so much space. I think it's a fake Temp internet files folder created by the virus I had not long ago. I cleared from the browser (which is set to a 500 mb cap), and it didn't free up very much space on the HD.
Edit: I use WinDirStat to see what is taking the most space on my computer. Use it at work all the time so I decided to try it on my desktop.
Definitely should delete that ***. 46GB is too much for temp files.
I use Malewarebytes'.
I actually paid for Malwarebytes when I got this last virus. It was the only thing that kept it from freaking my computer out on startup. Was hell to clean off.
Sounds sorta disgusting, but what do I know? :x I also found an interesting little thing on the same site suggesting having a high intelligence as a child leads to more drinking... something like that. lmao
XD It might be gross, but it looks awesome! Plus... it's the T-Virus! Of course I'm going to like it. ;D

lol That's one of the reasons I posted it. :x I was sure you'd enjoy it.

Curious now, what virus was it?
It was one of those fake antivirus viruses. Nothing new, but this one seemed smarter than the previous ones I've dealt with. I think it received an upgrade.
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\
WinDirStat sees them. When I browse there with explorer to delete stuff, three folders are missing from that Windows\ folder. (Yes, I have hidden files visible)

Windows 7 I take it.
Odd that you can't see them, can WDS remove them?
Also maybe this is XP talking, but temp internet files are in: C:\Documents and Settings\ChaosX\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Replace user name of course.
You're correct which is why I want to blame this on virus. Deleted one of the folders inside of it via WinDirStat. So far my computer hasn't exploded, so I think I can continue.

As long as it's not some new way for Win7, you can probably just delete that whole parent directory of 'Temporary Internet Files.'
I only use IE when I want to have two FB profiles signed in at once. (I have a second one for games, and I occasionally have need to sign into Sav's profile)
I just...kinda wanna hit it with a bat and see what happens... There are so many colors it's like someone ate nothing but skittles than drank way too much and ended up throwing up rainbows.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
