I guess it varies depending on what language you speak. But the Italians I know spell it lasagne, so maybe it's a regional thing.
To get technical, lasagna is just the singular way of saying it. We tend to always say the plural forms of food, like eating a panini, biscotti, ect... It's grammatically wrong but we do it anyway. Sometimes we do the complete opposite and I don't know why.
You can't disagree on language. You can call lasagne(plural), the strips you use to prepare the dish, but the final product is one, therefore called lasagna.

Our family sent us presents. We were going to wait for Christmas, but now that we're the only adults who get to tell us what to do...
Well! I got a new purse, a scentsy (O.o?), a cute new sweater tunic, a book, and a gadget that lets you stamp pre-designed designs onto your nail polish for "salon style manicures at home."
My husband got some gift cards because no one ever knows what to buy him, the complete first season of Hogan's Heroes which he is excited about, an awesome tool set from his dad which he is also excited about, and a pen because no one ever knows what to buy him.
And Pixel and Dante got a new bed from us which we gave them the moment we got it home, a soft chewie frisbee, and a basketball frisbee. This all happened last night, we didn't even wait til Christmas Eve. /blush!
Well, they couldn't REALLY send us presents a week early and expect us to wait the whole time, right? Right?
You wouldn't ever see it spelt lasagna in England, in my defense.
And people wonder where we(America) got the idea of taking someone else culture, bastardizing it, renaming it and then telling them they were wrong >_>

Being wrong is impossible to admit for some people lol.
And dropping something that's completely trivial is impossible for you. Let it go, for *** sake. I spell it lasagne, you spell it lasagna. Is it really a big deal?
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
