Once when cooking a prepared Lasagna the oven mitt came off my hand as I removed it from the oven. Have a nice burn scar acros my right index finger's knuckle. 650 degree oven on direct skin contact is no bueno.
I don't get scars easily :/ I split my fingertip in 2 and there's no mark left lol (I just taped it together) but I did get scars from the giant hogweed when I got some of the juice on my arm. If exposed to sunlight it will give you big blisters and scars and if you get it in your eyes you'll go blind >.>
I don't burn my self in kitchens. Only cut. One everything by sharp knives.
Such as... butter knives, lobster tails, spoons, cardboard boxes, metal pans and plastic wrap containers.
The plastic wrap containers are actually kinda dangerous since some people will use their whole arm to rip it... They miss and the teeth gets their arm and it's not pretty XD It's not all that uncommon for people to cut themselves on it.
Unless we are thinking of completely different things...
I once made bacon without a shirt on...never again...
Been there...
I've also dropped a frying pan on my foot more times than I can count. Never when it was hot, luckily. >_>;
I got something out of the oven once and put the hot mm grate? on my legs =.= greatest idea
Also things just randomly explode when i'm around :|
I hope you didn't burn yourself too badly? D:
Hanging out with you sounds like it'd be exciting. :p
Just had a straight, thin line burned in my leg, wasn't too bad but looked kinda funny
Eh, i'm just super impatient and can't focus on anything for longer than 2 seconds.. also super forgetful ._. idk what will be when i get old and it will get even worse some day lol

Hrm may go trade in a couple old games and get dark souls on xbox just to have the full collections. also in the hopes that I can one day track down Kali and backstab her for telling me to go cook!
>:|
It'll be in Tomb of the Giants and she'll end up backstabbing you from the shadows.
Lets see what happens.
Had 2 old games that I no longer needed(BF3 had the new premium copy for DLC and Skrim I switched to PC) so I traded them in and got DS for free.
I now can play with all my brethren!
Screw the wenches though.

Same thing and I suppose I shouldn't call it odd. It's just that I use knives far more often than that thing so I'd have to slip up at some point. :|

Ah, that's good then. Well, not good, but ya know... not too bad... ._.;
Oh Knight Artorias, you were a ***, but beating you felt so satisfying... I'm disappointed that there is no refight a boss for giggles option in DS now :/
I love the Artorias fight. His move sets are just soooo badass. And the sounds his sword makes when he slams it into the ground are vhnkldjanjdbnabda inducing.

Having to shoot him in the head with an arrow when he buffed up was fun XD
Anyone else think that some people are just breaking this game down and examining it too much?
I fully understand the need to want to do the most damage you possibly can, to optimize your performance, and just overall do the best you can. However, where is that line between figuring things out and going overboard with it. People have figured out formula for curing, weaponskill damage, emnity, ect. When did this game become more math and science than fun?
I play enough hours a week to be considered a hardcore gamer, but i consider myself a casual gamer. I log in, i may torture myself through some dynamis due to making a new weapon, but then i try and have fun. Every time i try and break the game down as much as other people have, it just kills all the fun for me and gives me a headache. I have, what i think is, decent gear for my job. I broke down and got a ws set and macro'ed it in via the in game macro's, since i see the huge difference in todays game between using a ws set and not. But i have still had people try to explain to me why certain pieces are better for certain situations by way of "well in aby your fSTR is already capped" or "use of this and this will be better because fTP is this." this is just overly confusing and does not sway me in any way.
When will people remember that this is a game, ment to enjoy and have fun with, or at least leave those people alone who just enjoy playing at a relaxed pace? I tweek my gear, slowly since i dont do end game nearly as much as others in these end game linkshells, and i try to improve as i can, but please keep your overly calculated stuff to yourself.
/end rant
TL/DR : Is the breaking down of the mechanics of the game ruining the fun for others?
That's all relative Ax. You can certainly enjoy the game with knowing it's formulas. You're still pushing your builds to the utmost they can be, while learning the ins and outs of how to achieve said goal.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
