Why did you necro this thread to talk about a 5 hit build that's not very good and also requires you to WS in all that stuff? Did you think this was some kind of new revelation that you could make a 5 hit on WAR and after seeing a bunch of SAMs do it thought it would be cool to copy them?

@Kaerin: No not at all. I don't use the set. I personally Prefer the 6-hit because I use Ravager's Orb and full time Ravager's Mufflers +2. Did I think I was cool? what kind of response is that? What are you butt hurt because I posted a 5hit build? You sound like you were upset because the last line I stated that this was the optimal set in my opinion outside of abyssea. Honestly on warrior X-it doesn't matter to me since double attack proc's so often that it become irrelevant how long it take you to reach 100tp. You stated I copied SAMs? I'm not on these forums enough to know about what other jobs are talking about.I literally have posted maybe 10 times on this website... But I see you have 209 posts. you must be an expert at playing final fantasy....lol

Drachenhorn can pull ahead if you need the attack.
Phorcys body if the 7% WSD carries over to all hits.

I don't really know of any working towards sets, I think its this or use your Ukon.

But defending ring > dark ring and hands can be AF2+2 or something, not positive on what you really want to use in this set, I just know this is close.

1 MONTH LATER POST!~ But seriously, just wanted to know, is Ragna like, worth it for WAR? Or is it like an MSzerg piece? I haven't read anything about it or though about it mind you so don't be harsh! D:

It's a weapon that can outparse Ukonvasara in high tier, Mighty Strikes or not, fights, and fodder mobs. In the middle, the gap (Which isn't very big to begin with) becomes very very close, possibly favoring Ukon - at least that's my understanding.

Ragnarok is great fun for WAR. Its primary utility on WAR is for MS zerg, but the damage is still very good nonetheless, and you could always level DRK and take it to a whole new lvl.

Ragnarok War is lotsa fun! with reasonable buffs and MS, those 30s? will be a good laugh more so if you are in abyssea hitting 15k+ easy on something like Orthrus.

There is, the relic +2 hands with augment give an additional 15 seconds.

Depends on the rest of your gear. probably head.

Helm is a good addition to TP set. Hands are a good addition to WS set. Feet are a good addition to PDT set. Legs are useless for WAR.
