Also hated this tank I just had, you get in a leveling dungeon and skip half of it cause you don't got time to waste then don't do leveling roulette..
This was pretty common in my experience back when I was leveling.
Ideally the idea behind it is the whole exp/hr ratio thing. So how much you skip really depends on how fast the group can kill.
If you got a good group that can kill fast then you shouldn't skip much of anything. If you're in a group that kills slower then skipping certain groups of mobs can actually end up netting a faster exp/hr due to the bonuses you get for completing the dungeon. (And going right into the next one.)
Most tanks don't know or understand this concept though and more often than not it ends up hurting your exp/hr to skip. Because tanks while leveling will skip groups when you have good AoE jobs, or people that know how to maximize their dps.
That reminds me: we should do superlatives again, this year. Just for funzies.
What did you have in mind?
Same thing we did a few years ago: come up with like 20 or so categories, then have the public send PMs to Kojo and Rooks with their choices, and the ones with the most votes get the superlative. That way it's democratic.

Was the last one popular? I didn't really take part
I was under the impression not enough people expressed interest so they didn't bother last year hmmm
Oh, really? Wow, that puts a damper on things.
Alternatively, we could have one person be the superlative person and hand them out to all the frequent posters.

That could be endearing if it's well thought out.
I still don't vote for you.
Make it somebody who throws out insults and demeans people on a regular basis. That'll teach them!
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
