Maheus Cunha

Cunha plays for Man Utd. Not many clubs bigger than that.

Paging Endrick - Brazil needs a free scoring No. 9.

There is also an ongoing theory about Endrick being excluded simply because he isnt sponsored by Nike.

IDK if it is true, but it is kinda bizarre the most controversion Ancelotti decidsion to the starting 11 to be sponsored by Nike or Adidas, while Endick is sponsored by "New Balance"

Ancelotti has never been a manager to let sponsors decide his lineup.

Closest it came was at Real Madrid when Bale *had* to play despite having just signed and not trained whole summer. He played him and Bale promptly got injured.

But Ancelotti is well used to managing big egos.

I have seen a video of Casemiro doing a ridiculous two footed tackle from behind on Endrick, which could have easily snapped his leg in two like a twig if his foot was not off the ground. That's the kind of tackle you get red carded for plus suspension. And he did it *in training*, against a teammate. Not something I ever thought I would see Casemiro do, and I've watched him play a lot while he was at Man Utd.

Anyway, while no one else is scoring Ancelotti simply can't afford to keep ignoring Endrick.

Given how expensive is to find s place to rent (f*ck Hell de Janeiro...), Im seriously considering in swalloing more this year. Living with my mom, and skipping to buy my home in another city.

Checking the offers there, there are lots of good opportunities that fit exactly my requirements and budgets.

The only thing is that living there makes impossible to keep working for my current company.

More a couple of months refining my art of vibe coding, then I will just resign. Living off my savings, snd if necessary, working selling some vibe code products or video edits, that are the skills I feel more confident to offer.

Yeah, i was late in many things in my life, but I will be proud of being a very early retiree, with 40y.

And if you ask, I totally prefer being extremrlly early retiree than any other early thing in life.

I'd advise caution. Make sure you have enough investments and passive income that you can effectively retire.

I don't know what number of savings would make that feasible for you, depends on cost of living in your city. Also need to account for future inflation.

I managed to retire six or seven times before it actually stuck.

don't really sound like they're coming from a place of security where retirement is realistic. Obviously cost of living plays a part, but even luxury rentals in Rio are pretty cheap by American standards.

Especially when plan B is to hope that someone will pay you to ask AI to do things for them.

not the first time I've seen something like that but haven't read in depth about it. maybe Panta could move to one of these JP towns that pay people to own a house there.

There is thing specific to Brazil that the government itself offers a god enough investmrnt with very low risk.

Those investments either pay fixed 15% per year or 8% plus inflation.

Im accounting moving to another cheaper (and better) city to buy an apartment, avoid entirely rental.

For a single and no children like me, the profits alone dhpuld vover my yearly expenses without touching the capital.

On papel, feels like I got all covered, but we will see.

Worst case, gonna lend dome money from Ms Chatty or Dordo

I wish to ask actual soccer* fans what they think about the world cup "hydration breaks"** and also do they have them in games played in Canada and Mexico?

*Its an English word darnit not American.

**Commercial breaks in reality.

Thinly disguised commercial break that everyone hates.

Have watched soccer in much higher heat than what is in Mexico this time of year, no one even thought of doing "hydration breaks".

There's bottles of water available for anyone to drink from behind each goal line, and near the benches. There's lots of breaks in play to facilitate it.

The enforced break has nothing to do with hydration, hence why no one likes it.

While it is annoying seeing the game interrupted, I do think it gives the teams a short time to plan a tactical change.

Here in Brasil we started to have those when they decided to have matches at 11am, what is indeed harsh.

The result is that most games at that time are sluggish.

While i hardly see anyone getting dehydrated, but it does happen the players playing in a saving energy mode

Sounds like part of the strategy for a tournament.

If you burn out in the prelims, you're cooked when the games matter.

Playing or doing anything physical in heat will make you sluggish. More water won't help with that - often the opposite - just need to get used to the heat.

From first hand experience.

I think people who are sprinting for an hour and a half deserve as much water as they think they need. Fans will always be annoyed by breaks so I'm not sure it matters if you wait a few minutes for players to replenish or watch them roll around on the pitch with cramping for a few minutes.
