marvel tokon is pretty great but runs like dogshit on PC because of Sony DRM, 2xko calling it quits after 10 years of dev time and 8 months after launch.
when the accessory is hanging next to what someone is actively using.
This reminds the #1 offender in any gym.
The one thing only anti christ, criminals and FFXIAH users do.
And that is, doing an exercise and leaving their bottle of water, cellphone or even resting in an equipment said scum isnt actually using at the moment.
Bonus point if you want to use the bench or the equipment, and there is a frigging bottle on it, while the person is scrolling his/her cellphone.
My gym has a biter. Someone has been biting the equipment. It's not a kid, it's a grown *** adult. For a while there were teeth marks on various parts of the machines, mainly on the pads you sit on. It was bad enough they had to put a PSA out there and basically say: "I can't believe I have to say this, but we will ban you if you are caught biting the equipment"
how "are you using it" got ranked above "how many sets you got left" though?
There are also those people who dont even waste time with preliminaries, and goes straight to "can we take turns?"
I remember once I was screwed by a middle aged woman. I was doing my exercise with pulley, and I dont waste anyones time on it. During rests, I mentally count the seconds and as soon as the rest time is up, I quickly go back to the series.
But then the middle aged woman asked me to take turns. I said, ok, and went to the side while she went to prepare the machine.
But then... she was doing a frigging horse kick exercise. Holy ***went I saw she putting the thing in her leg I said; "you know what? You can do the exercise, I will do something else".
Because damn... the horse kick exercise takes forever to complete a series, and it is a frigging hassle to change the pulley height and others stuff.
In other words, I was swifty kicked out of the pulley for a middle aged woman.
I had this manga recommendation and decided to take a look.
"Someone's girlfriend"
At first, it seemed like your average modern age japanese high school romance, with a little of NTR flavor, because the MC best friend has a girlfriend and she keeps flirting with the MC.
What caught me off guard is that the author is unhinged.
Oh, boy
So, I just finished the story.
Lot faster than I expected.
Kinda weird the mangaka wanted to do this like a that famous story, Lies in April I think.
But then he added NTR.
And he added a gay friend,
A second girl with a pretty messed situation.
Then a third girl to form a harem.
Finally he went to the borderline of becoming a full hentai story.
In the end, it was such a messy story I don't know how to feel. At this point, I'm just annoyed because the mangaka was never explicit if the first girl died or no, and he did probably the laziest open ended I ever see: he just used on3 frame with a cellphone receiving "Unknown number" call.
Anyone know any good tricks to help memory, specifically short term?
I'm finding myself forgetting stuff immediately a lot. Like I'll say, "I'm gonna look this thing up, and then go this!" in XI, and I open the wiki and forget what I was gonna lookup.

I kinda feel like this at times.
My conclusion is that this is the result of a couple of factors happening at same time:
- Getting older.
- Trying too much multitask
- Lacking proper focus while doing things.
Most things I forget within a short time is those things that were briefly mentioned or I just thought about that for a fraction of second. Like: "Oh, I need to check the wiki for the accessory materials, gonna check it out once I hit the checkpoint." Then a couple of things happen that change my focus, like a fight, some struggle to find the checkpoint, another plan that appeared in the way.
So, after I actually hit the checkpoint, I remember that I need to check on wiki, but the reason got buried below the many things that happened afterward.
One book I read about memory mentined humam brain is quite limited in its short term memory. It is like you can only store somewhere betwen 6 and 10 things before the first one either is loaded into the long term memory, or just discarded.
So, be mindful the amount of things you doing simultaneosly. Also, make sure to just focus on important things. If somethnng is actually important, chance it is stored in the long term memory. But if you pick a thing to do on a whim, most likely your brain wont consider it worth actually storing it for longer.
Pick your thing, evaluate its worth, think it twice, and probably you can remember it for longer
Like I'll say, "I'm gonna look this thing up, and then go this!" in XI, and I open the wiki and forget what I was gonna lookup.
I'll say "I'm gonna dump gil in my mog garden, then go bribe Monberaux", then, once I've zoned into my garden, good chance I'd be "what was I gonna do again?"
..if I don't forget where I needed to teleport to by the time I've reached the HP.
Tasks are too fragmented into meaningless small steps that each take a few seconds (e.e zoning), potentially contributing to our attention deficit! I think we need to stop playing XI
I was just complaining about this the other day. There's some guy in youtube who has short videos of like 4m and all of them have annoying sponsored ads. I didnt know there's an addon to auto skip sponsored ads, that should be official
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
