So I made my own spaghetti sauce yesterday, let it cook on the stove all day long on low.
I'm never buying it in a jar ever again. One of the easiest things I've done that tasted the best.
Did you make it entirely from scratch, or did you use prepared ingredients like tomato paste or crushed canned tomatoes?
I used one of those large cans of canned tomatoes, I usually grow them in the summer so I'll make sure I make it with fresh then. Yea, 2 lil cans of tomato paste, 1.5-2 pounds of beef, 1.5 pounds of fresh sausage, and a few seasonings.
The taste is wonderfully fresh, I can't wait to try it when I start growing them again. I'm serious though, I'm never buying it in a jar again, none of them even came close.
Oh, I believe you. I've actually been wanting to start creating my own sauce from scratch, but I'm a bit unsure of how to start. Usually I use too much seasoning or not enough; I can never tell. Plus I'd like to do it entirely from fresh tomatoes and stay away from cans.
Also, I hear a lot of sauces' secret ingredients are replacing salt with ground up anchovies.
Is it just me or is it weird for a girl to give an in-depth play by play of their sexual escapades to a guy on facebook who they used to work with who wants to have sex with them?

well she friendzoned him if she's telling him that. At least I would think so.

Well, canned whole tomatoes tend to be fresher than tomatoes from produce. They can them within hours of picking, while hole tomatoes travel for a few days and they pick them underripped, etc.
I got one of those huge cans tho, industrial size. Had like 20 lil tomatoes inside. The batch took up two pots.
I froze the rest for later, I don't go through it very fast so it will last a very long time. The final cost was probably 50% less if I would of bought it all in jars, but tastes a lot better.

Well, someday when I have the location and the money, I want to have a full vegetable garden with plenty of tomato plants, as well as basil and the like. But, that's part of that grand dream of mine to make pizza entirely from scratch at home. But until then, I'll try the canned thing, first.
I feel weird because it is like she gave this guy a report on my secksing and I don't know anything about him aside from he wanted to bang her at one point -_-

Super uncomfortable right now.
Well yah it can be weird, but I don't think she means any ill intention by it but to remind him that he will not have her.
Hope she gave a good report so he feels inadequate.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
