Why do I see so many 5/5 Usukane SAMs?

Probably cuz they feel they have to wear it, with the all the time they spent getting it.
I absolutely love the usukane design, If I could wear it in real life, you damn well better believe I would.
Town is one thing, I mean, I see a lot SAMs using it during battle >_>.

If full usu caps your acc while using meat (SAM polearm), yes.
but that only happens if you have millions of gear everywhere else, so most ppl are better off with a bigger haste setup + sushi. Hitting acc cap is easier with full usu >.> it has more acc without dropping too much haste then a mixed build. I have 93-94% hit rate on birds without full usu with meats. You don't need sushi.

I personally prefer 2% haste over 9 acc but that's just me.
edit: If you use ace's helm it's 2 acc vs 1% haste. I think also prefer 1% haste over 2 acc, always.

I don't see how it has more accuracy:
Aces helm > usu head Haubergeon +1 > usu body Byakko pants > usu pants Unless there is accuracy on that gear that is not in the text. Edit: Nvm usu body is more 2 more dex than hauby, that should be a massive bonus >.>

I'm reading the thread I started and still don't see a reason why I see sams using 5/5 Usukane during battle.
