You know that's something I'd like. Have the Lamps be numbered (by SE) to help out all the xbox users.

Sorry, wasn't aware I was the one using 7th grade bravado. Try rereading what I posted, too, and it'll probably make more sense, because I didn't mention anything about dat swaps and fillmode being required for absolute success. Thus, illiteracy.

This and fixing the lag in between input and rune of release activation would be the best course of action tbh. Removing lamp floors altogether would be too extreme.

Nah I think its your reading comprehension that fails. You're trying to tell my my opinion is not an opinion or a worthy one well it still stands, cheating is not a necessity as Seha seemed to think it is, its still possible to win without it.

When did I say that exactly? You seem to just be making up words to stir ***. It's quite annoying.

You're being moronic. You're using an example where you have no idea exactly how it happened. Maybe taints group got 10 order lamp floors in a row, and did them easily because they used dats. Could an xbox user do that? No.
Now, if you have an example of a pure vanilla group, or 6/6 xbox group winning Nyzul, then yes, by all means talk about that example as to why dat mods etc are not a necessity.
For the record I don't think fillmode is a necessity. I'm personally not that great with differentiating where walls are/aren't in nyzul under fillmode so I've found it hinders me more than helps and quit using it.

people cheat in nyzul?! deets! Doesn't the fact that it's a necessity to use them even give you a hint that this event is completely messed up? Necessity is your opinion. Valefor.Prothescar said: »It's not an opinion, absolute fact
Taint's group is just one example, more will come with time.

Sorry but cropping out the entire rest of the post won't work.
Valefor.Prothescar said: »It's not an opinion, however, that lamp dat swaps and fillmode are necessity for a decent win rate, that's absolute fact. Decent being +/- 50%, which is tedious enough while still offering challenge, and more importantly it's fun when you don't have to worry about being completely *** over by ill-conceived RNGs.
If you aren't able to understand why that isn't remotely close to what you're suggesting that I'm saying, then I really don't feel like I have to explain further how ironic it is that you're suggesting that my reading comprehension skills are lacking.

My only point is its not a 100% necessity its been done without and more people in future gonna do it without too, may be a low 100 clear rate but it cant be called a necessity.

What don't you get about it being a necessity for a decent win rate? Do you not understand the difference between win rate and winning?

Yeah exactly, I was addressing your reply with a different response, and then you addressed me. Poorly. It has nothing to do with Seha's opinion, it was mine that you raised issue with. My reply was entirely different than Seha's.

I believe winning something with skill and tactics in this game should be paramount. At this moment in time, anything in this game, even the harder events, can be won with skill and tactics... EXCEPT Neo-nzul. Getting to NN floor 100 is about 25% skill/tactics or less, and 75% or more about luck. You can have the best, most elite group imaginable, 30 min of embrava, haste/enthunder on all DD, and still not make it to floor 100 if you have horrible floor skips, 4-5 lamp floors, huge floor layouts, custards and so on. Eliminating lamp floors, and cutting back on the unnecessary time sink menu/floor jumps is only a small fraction of what can go wrong in a run, however it would improve the luck factor enough that you could enter with an elite group, and actually win with a higher rate, without 3rd party tools.

I see Neo Nyzul like an item with a really shitty drop rate.
The only difference is that it causes drama and makes you feel bad because you feel like ***any time you make a mistake that compromises a run. Regardless as to how good you are, people make mistakes.
I'm fine with SE making a hard event, but when having a set of unlucky floors or making a small mistake costs you the event, something needs to change.
Reward skill, not luck.

| I’d like to put the two different Nyzul challenges into perspective a bit.
The original Nyzul was a lot easier to clear, but the drop rates were not very high. On top of the drop rate, you would only get one piece of equipment as well, which could possibly be something different than what you were after.
The new Nyzul might be a bit more difficult to reach floor 100, but if you are able to successfully get there and defeat the boss, each party member has a 100% guaranteed item, and what’s even better is that you can select the item of your choice.
Based on the above, though it might be more challenging to reach the higher floors, when you get there you will definitely be rewarded.
On a separate note, it seems like some players are finding the lamp floors to be the most troublesome. I would be happy to submit any suggestions you have for improving this aspect of Nyzul, so please list them out and I will talk to the development team about them. | |
