What's the point of posting your gear here? Even if I had all the gear that I want I doesn't mean I wouldn't take 30 million gil if it was offered to me.

Yes, I agree that you need to do events/endgame to refine your skills; however, the whole point of me getting this gear is to eventually do Salvage--I still need assault points. ._.

Either way, I'd like to thank Krispy to actually posting something relevant to the original topic and preferably this thread can end now unless somebody knows of a SKY LS I can join that works around my schedule (which I stated in my original post). Thanks for nothing most of you. :P

I hadn't even posted on this forum until this month; I'm a pretty quiet player that keeps to himself for the most part.

Since you failed to read his OP, he was only asking to get some Sky items and the Black Belt quest items merc'd. Which (this might shock you) Linkshells actually sell.

The way he got his gil is sketchy, especially since he had so much of it before he had a job to level 30, but if he's willing to pay and Linkshells are willing to sell, that's their business ya'know?

You didn't outright accuse me of buying gil; however, you can't say that you didn't insinuate the fact and that's why I mentioned that we can assume you bought your account, but that doesn't make it true.

I have put time into the game farming and doing stuff with friends and I'm going to continue to put time into the game doing Assault and eventually Salvage. The point of this thread was to purchase some pieces of equipment, which I can use to be a more effective player at any of the events in the future. You can't deny that kitty pants (unless you have full usu) and black belt are crucial to a career MNK.

In any case, what's done is done.

I have seen plenty of shitty mnks with black belt, I will never pay for black belt items. I have no respect for those that bought their black belt items and didnt earn them.

Going to tell me to do ks99, I did over 12 of those no luck, oh I camped them lots of times and let other mnks get those items before me, only to see the ls break, and those other mnks not help anyone after they got what they wanted.

Hell no I wont level black mage to get something for mnk.

I would like to see you tank serket, behemoth, charby, roc and other lessers on your mnk. Trio sky on mnk 7+ times.

I was partially right though, you didnt earn that 30mill by farming, you just got lucky, nuff said.

Camping black belt items, I have seen some linskhels let the items, hit the floor, rather then give them to a mnk or friends that you helped a lot trying to sell you a beard for 3mill. Others tell you get claim and inv us. Sure go get claim when there used to be 60+ people in the zone, when I used to camp them.

I did all these things with no black belt, still dont have it, I dont really get to use mnk for anything now.

I hope you at least trying to get guard skill ups, having capped guard helps a lot, but is a pain in the *** to do

Preferably, I'd like this topic to end like I said before. I started becomming a bit of a *** after a few posts.

As far as tanking on Monk is concerned that's why I want black belt a kitty pants, because they help a lot with keeping shadows up and by increasing your damage significantly to hold hate. I also need Melee Gaiters for Counterstance and I need to finish building up my Chakra gear set.

Guard is a pretty big waste of time for what it offers you. Sure, it will proc a fair amount on easy prey and decent challenge mobs, but on anything more challenging it isn't really worth the effort. I'll probably let a bunch of mnk mobs wail on me if I get bored enough though.

QQ some more no one cares about your personal opinions on how other people obtian there gear. No one cares If you ave no respect for them just because they figured out how to save 6-9 mil and payed a linkshell to give it to them.

No one cares about your personal experience and lack of drive to find a way other than camping them yourself.
